Make This the Year of What’s Going Well

Many people start the New Year with resolutions of losing weight, learning a new language, and saving money. Most of us set resolutions because we believe that we will become a better person and perhaps happier if we accomplish these resolutions.

I believe that being happier is more straightforward than we make it out to be. Too often, we focus on everything going wrong in our lives that we forget to focus on all the things going well.

By focusing on what’s going well, we can rewire our brain to be happier and more positive. That’s why instead of making some grandiose New Year’s resolutions, let’s make this the year of What’s Going Well.

Here are five ways to implement What’s Going Well this year:

  1. Attend a Starbucks event

I’ll be doing a short talk and book signing at two Starbucks locations this Friday, January 17, 2020. At 10:30 am, join me at 5222 NE Brookwood Parkway, Hillsboro, OR, and at 1:00 pm, join me at 7399 NE Butler St., Hillsboro, OR. The first 50 guests will receive a free copy of What’s Going Well?

  2. Read What’s Going Well? on paperback or ebook, or listen to the audiobook

  3. Get a What’s Going Well 90-Day Companion Journal and complete it!

  4. Sign up for the What’s Going Well journey emails

We’ll send you weekly emails over 90 days with reminders and exercises about how to focus on What’s Going Well.
